Opening with her hits from 50’s with songs including BURN MY CANDLE Bassey's first commercial success in 1956 at the tender age of 19. Owing to the suggestive lyrics, the BBC banned it but it sold well enough nontheless. AS I LOVE YOU Bassey's first UK hit reaching No1 in 1959 to KISS ME HONEY HONEY KISS ME.
The 60's & 70s brought more of the best with AS LONG AS HE NEEDS ME; I WHO HAVE NOTHING; NEVER NEVER NEVER and BIG SPENDER. Bassey's popularity soared with her unmistakable Bond Theme Hits GOLDFINGER and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.
The 80s & 90's brought the Beatles song SOMETHING. I AM WHAT I AM; THIS IS MY LIFE. https://youtu.be/ODid8v9_hxw Shirley's UK hit HISTORY REPEATING in 1997.
Celebrating her then, 50 years in show business in 2003 with 'THANK YOU FOR THE YEARS'. HTTPS://youtu.be/TQYd1sYci7I 2007 with THE LIVING TREE.
More recent songs from her Cd entitled The Performance. THE GIRL FROM TIGER BAY; HTTPS://youtu.be/xSC6ei2-BwA written especially for Dame Shirley, being one example.
All the above and more linked together with Paula's wit and 'off the cuff' comedy and audience participation. Numerous exact glamorous costumes and a magnificent 10 piece orchestra.
